  Maritime Asset Security Team (MAST) Course

This intensive and very informative course is instructed by certified Ship Security Officers (SSO) and former Anti-Terrorist Royal Marines Commandos who were members of the Elite Comacchio Group RM, now known as Fleet Protection Group (FPG) RM with an average of 15 years experience in the industry

All Maritime Asset Security Teams (MAST) Training Courses are run from our Head Office in Manchester, United Kingdom, also at our Joint Forces Training (JFT) Facility in Meriden CT, USA or en-location at a training location of your choice pending your requirements

We are certified and accredited by the Maritime & Coastguard Agency (MCA) to run Specialist Maritime Security Training Courses as also set out by the Merchant Navy Training Board (MNTB) guidelines

Our Core Trainers are former Elite Military or Law Enforcement and are certified Ship Security Officers (SSO) and Company Security Officers (CSO) accredited by the Maritime & Coastguard Agency (MCA) to provide Specialist Maritime Security Training to those wishing to receive a certified, recognised course.

The 5-day MAST course has been designed to prepare operators for maritime security operations on board any type of vessel from private luxury motor cruisers, to the massive bulk oil/cargo vessels. If attending this course in the USA, we also cover tactical firearms training and suspect handling, searching and detaining.

You also receive your MCA-accredited Ships Security Officer (SSO) certificate from attending this course subject to you meeting the required criteria.
